George is a Partner at Metavallon, a venture capital management company with approximately €75 million in assets under management. Metavallon funds early-stage companies at the forefront of technological innovation, backed by the European Investment Fund, the Hellenic Development Bank of Investments, and other institutional and private investors.
George holds degrees in Environmental Sciences (University of Athens), Exploration Geophysics (University of Leeds), and an MBA from ALBA. He worked as a business consultant supporting Greek SMEs in securing funding through national and EU instruments. He later held senior roles in leading Greek ICT firms, gaining experience across startups and listed companies in Athens, London AIM, and Nasdaq. In 2012, he co-led a management buy-out to form Motivian Group, a provider of IT solutions for banks, telecoms, and governments in Southeast Europe. Motivian was acquired by the Qualco Group in August 2022.
