Georgios Pouraimis is a Senior Officer at the Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation and commander for the Hellenic Navy. Cdr Pouraimis is a seasoned electrical and computer engineer specializing in cybersecurity, with nearly 30 years of experience in Defence, IT and cybersecurity. Prior to his current role, he spent over a decade supporting cybersecurity projects at the Hellenic Ministry of Defence, contributing to NATO and national initiatives. He is  a Computer Science Lecturer at the Hellenic Naval Academy and the European Security & Defence College, and holds a  Ph.D. from the National Technical University of Athens, an MSc in Computer Science from Cranfield University  and various industry certifications. (ISO 27001, CCNA, CCNA CyberOps, PRINCE2) . Cdr Pouraimis has successfully led numerous national and European projects as a Project Manager, focusing on digital citizenship, safety, and inclusive education.
