Stefanos Kollias is Chairman of the Board of the National Infrastructures for Research and Technology (GRNET). He is Emeritus Professor in School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens. He is IEEE Fellow, having produced a world leading research activity in the field of Machine/Deep Learning and AI. He has published 300 papers in international journals and conferences, with 16000 citations and h-index 59 (Google Scholar). He has supervised 50 Ph.D. students. He has led his group participation in 100 European R&D projects, attracting funding of more than 20MEuro.
